Jour deux

"I walked in silence with my thoughts, as the frigid winter air blew the strands of hair around my face. As strangers trotted by, I slowly followed them with my eyes, observing every secret smile passing by their lips, catching their gaze and allowing a quiet moment between two strangers. I see you. You see me. I acknowledge your presence. Simple. Straight to the point. If I was feeling devious, I would give the men a smile.. no not a smile.. a smirk. I'd give them a little smirk as if to say "I know what your desires are" They would usually hide their honest eyes, bashful. They had wives to think about and daughters to get home to. But for just one second, one glorious second, they could envision what it would be like to be with someone like me.

I made an omelette for the first time on Sunday morning. I have been shamelessly trying to make the perfect omelette for a very long time. I love eggs, they love me, it's a lot of egg love in my house, but I can not, for the life of me, make an omelette.
December 13th: Christmas Market

I love Christmas, I really do. It's my favourite time of the year. The food, the smells, the atmosphere, the cheer, and smiles, the time spent with loved ones laughing. It's honestly magical, I don't care how cliche it may all sound.
Merry Christmas from my work!
This year, I celebrated Christmas with my office by putting up a christmas tree, and helping set up the event space for our office Christmas party. This year we had it at the Berkley Fieldhouse on Queen. It is such a gorgeous space. It offers a large, open space venue with floor to ceiling windows and beautiful chandeliers. It has a vintage, cozy atmosphere with exposed brick and a beautiful patio with christmas lights. I never would have guess that a space so luxurious was tucked in on a corner on Queen Street East.
